When the birds mysteriously started dropping dead, appearing like a unified suicide, the media tried to pass this off as fireworks startling the birds to their ultimate death.  Next we heard about thousands of fish bellying up for no apparent reason.  These reports of mass fish and bird die offs continued in all countries and shores.  I had some conspiracy theories of my own playing in my head until the Lord showed me the answer.  The fish and bird die offs were symptoms of a sick earth.  The earth has been experiencing chills in record blizzards and earthquakes, vomiting volcanoes, the oil of her veins hemoraging into the oceans, and fever exhibited by record breaking heatwaves in more than one country.  The earth is sick and the sickness is terminal.  We should know this from Scripture, that the earth will pass away.  In what stage is the earth in this terminal illness?  Down through history the animals have been good indicators of what is to come and this time they are warning us that all is not well.  What are Christians to do?  This book is not to scare but to prepare us for events on our horizon.
